Neillsville City Council Hears Public Works Report

The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work was done in the city including equipment maintenance, cemetery and parks maintenance, street sweeping, snow and ice removal (when we had it), maintaining street lighting, hauling brush and compost, filling pot holes, trimming and pruning trees and more. Public Works Director Dave Flynn also mentioned residents trash cans again, reminding people to bring them in within 24 hours of pick up. He also discussed the equipment he’s purchasing for the department.
Finally, he mentioned that he has notices out for spring clean-up the 3rd week of April, job announcements for summer help, asphalt bids and an electronic recycling event scheduled for later in April.
