Black River Falls Man Arrested After a Controlled Law Enforcement Drug Buy Back

A Black River Falls man arrested after a controlled law enforcement drug buy back in July of last year was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Thursday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, they executed a search warrant at a home and arrested Charles Butterfield. During the search, they found two handguns, 151 grams of marijuana, meth, meth paraphernalia and other drug paraphernalia.
Butterfield was found guilty of manufacturing/delivering THC and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 2 years of extended supervision.
