Medford Graduate Completes Basic Military Training

-A Medford graduate recently completed basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Steven C. Brost completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Brost earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Mary J. and Kevin Brost, and brother of Allison Brost of Medford. The airman is a 2010 graduate of Medford Area Senior High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2015 from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
