Boyceville Man Arrested for Possession Near Osseo Sentenced in Trempealeau County Court

A Boyceville man arrested in Osseo for possession was sentenced in Trempealeau County Court on Tuesday.
According to the Osseo Police Department, they received a call about suspicious activity at the Golden Express Travel Plaza. The department had their K9 Unit perform a search of the vehicle and drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were found.
Karissa Fransway of Cornell was given a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Her passenger, Derek Paulson, was wanted on several warrants. He was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction charges.
During his court appearance, he was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, bail jumping. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison and 1 year of extended supervision.
