Clark County Winter Recreation Areas Update

-The Clark County Forestry and Parks Department has an update on the county winter recreation areas.Levis Mound Recreation Area is open for Cross Country Skiing. Fat Tire Bike trails are also open, but all users will be restricted to the Base Loop and the Bear Den Loop. Clark County ATV & Snowmobile Trails located on private lands are still closed. Trails on public lands are open for ATV and snowmobile use. Due to the quality of snow, saturated ground and lack of frost, these trails will not be groomed. Riders are reminded to operate their machines in a responsible manner as spring like conditions are present.
Please remember that UTV’s are not allowed on the ATV trail system during the winter months. And for more information on trail conditions/closures, please contact the Forestry and Parks Department or check their website.
