Clark County Winter Recreation Update

Here’s an update on Clark County’s winter recreation areas for this weekend.Bruce Mound Winter Sports area is open today from 10am-4pm and tomorrow from 10am-4pm. The fresh snow has added to the additional base at Bruce Mound and conditions are expected to be good.
Levis Mound Recreation Area is currently being groomed for use. The Sweaty Yeti Fat Tire Bike Race is will be held as scheduled today. Following the event, the Fat Tire Bike Trails will reopen to the public.
Clark County Ski Trails will be groomed over the weekend and the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department is hopeful to have them ready by Monday.
There are no changes to the ATV and snowmobile trails. Trails on private lands are still closed and trails on public lands are only open to ATVs. UTV’s are not allowed on the trail system during the winter months.
