Man Arrested in Black River Falls for Possession Sentenced

-A man arrested in Black River Falls during a routine traffic stop after drugs were discovered in the vehicle was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.Authorities pulled over Andrew Hanson of La Crosse in Black River Falls back in August of 2015. During the stop, a K-9 detected a large amount of drugs. The officers searched the vehicle and found meth, heroin and a weighing scale and packaging materials.
During his appearance on Wednesday, Hanson was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession with intent, heroin. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 4 years’ probation.
