Administrators' Reports at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.

Elementary Principal Tim Rueth reported on attendance, parent teacher conferences on February 23rd, no school and parent teacher conferences on February 24th, the Annual Cuddle Up With a Book Night on February 27th, the 2nd grade’s trip to the dental clinic, Achievement Gap Reduction Report and summer school courses. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, a scheduling update, the Academic Letter Ceremony on March 8th, an open campus update and FCCLA week. He also gave a graduation update, upcoming testing, a successful winter sports season, FFA week, Forensics, the Rube Goldberg competition and the results of the solo and ensemble competition.

Finally, District Administrator John Gaier reported on openings on the CVTC District Board, the Legislative Meeting in Medford on March 6th, a Focus article, the governor’s recent listening sessions and an article regarding the private school tax credit. He also provided information on the impact of private school choice programs on general aid, a Chamber Business After 5 announcement and the revenue limit exemption for energy efficiency projects.
