Greenwood School Board Update

The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ reports at their meeting on Monday.High School Principal Todd Fisher highlighted the continuing math curriculum with a recommendation expected to be ready for the March board meeting, elementary staff held end of the semester data meetings to assess student progress and to plan for continued interventions, the Crystal Apple program kick-off was January 31st and course registration for the 2017-18 school year is well underway.
Finally, the board heard reports from its members as well as committee reports. Two members shared information from their CESA 10 visit to the Stanley Prison and two members updated the board on the WASB Convention. The Employee Relations Committee proposed the 2017-18 School Calendar and the Transportation Committee discussed options to improving safety and security for transporting students in regards to numerous requests to change drop-off locations
