Tobacco Shop Owner in Black River Falls Facing Charges

-A tobacco shop owner in Black River Falls is facing charges for unlawful cigarette sales activity.According to court records, 62-year-old Wayne Johnson of Tomah allegedly evaded over $108,000 in cigarette excise taxes from November of 2012 to June of last year by manufacturing cigarettes at his home in Tomah and then selling them in his store, Holy Smokes Tobacco Shop in Black River Falls.
Johnson has been charged with four misdemeanor counts in Jackson County Court.
