-The Clark County Tourism Committee discussed many topics during their meeting on Wednesday. The Spring into the Arts Tour and Bloomin’ Greenhouses events are progressing nicely and they’ll begin advertising in various spots for those. They also discussed a video project that the Wisconsin Counties Association puts together. The association picks out a county from year to year and puts together a video to highlight the many different aspects the county has to offer. Clark County was selected this year. The county will also have ads in American Road, Midwest Living and Travel Host magazines.
The committee also heard a presentation about Levis Mound and the different activities they offer all year round. And they discussed a bicycle tour that will be in the county next year. Finally, they talked about May being Historic Preservation Month. By May of next year, they would like to put together a project highlighting the past and present of Clark County’s Communities’ downtowns.
