Marshfield Woman Jailed in South Carolina in Connection with Alleged Missing Person Case

(WDLB) -A Marshfield woman has been jailed in South Carolina in connection with an alleged missing person case involving a pre-teen girl.52-year-old Annette Zopfi was apprehended Sunday by officials in Newberry County, South Carolina. According to Newberry County Chief Deputy Todd Johnson, Zopfi and her 11-year-old daughter were found with a 12-year-old girl from Richmond County, Georgia, who were on their way to Wisconsin, after the two girls had met through a You Tube channel over a year ago.
According to the police report, the 12-year-old girl had told the Zopfi's she had her mother's permission to travel with them back to Wisconsin. Both Newberry and Richmond sheriff's departments say the investigation is on-going, and that Zopfi is currently not facing charges. Meanwhile, the 12-year-old girl is being treated as a runaway.
