Clerk's Report at Granton Village Board Meeting

-The Granton Village board heard the Clerk’s Report at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, W2s and 1099s were sent out in a timely manner. Federal, State and WRS annual reports have been completed and 4th quarter utility billing has been sent out. There were 7 delinquent accounts that received disconnect notices. All accounts have been paid or arrangements made. Ballots for the February primary have been received and absentee ballots sent. The election schedule for February 21st has been set up. The public test of the election equipment will be done on Tuesday February 14th at 10:00am. The 2016 annual budget report is complete and they also met with the assessor to review building permits. Work continues on the audit.
The board heard the treasurer’s report as well. The beginning balance in checking was $436,998.66 and the ending balance $135,954.46. The beginning balance in the money market account was $383,278.56 and the ending balance, including tax collection, is $460,492.74.
