Granton Village Board Hears Project Updates

-The Granton Village Board heard an update on several projects at their meeting on Wednesday.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, they heard about several projects that are on hold until spring including the side walk restoration project, the park project, the flag pole I the cemetery and the ATV route. They also heard an MSA update. The village received a letter from MSA advising completion of the CDGB Grant Agreement and the Project Completion Report was reviewed and satisfactorily completed. The board also heard the water report. Water sample results for the first quarter were handed out, several wells were inspected, with two violations found, and they were corrected.
The board heard the waste water report which included cleaning the lift station basket, a grave site opening, replacing the dump truck battery, taking down the Christmas decorations, ordering struts for the back hoe and placing an ad in WI Rural Water Association Journal for the old meters from well 4. Finally, the board heard the constable report.
