2016 A Successful Year for Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry

(WDLB) -2016 was another successful year for the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry."MACCI" celebrated last year's success, during its annual meeting Wednesday night at the K-C Hall. Executive Director Scott Larson said most of MACCI's success last year had a regional feel. He said the chamber was able to strengthen its regional initiatives, mainly through partnerships like the Marshfield Area Technology Council, a group of information technology professionals. Larson also noted that its youth apprenticeship program has grown to more than 40 students.
Also, Nasonville Dairy was named as MACCI's firm of the year for 2017. Kim Heiman accepted the award on behalf of the family-owned operation, which also includes Weber's Farm Store and Heiman Holsteins west of Marshfield on Highway 10. Meanwhile, the Annual Small Business of the Year Award went to Dewey and Lisa Schutz at Nutz Deep Two.
