Due to warm and rainy weather conditions both the WIRCS and CWIRA had to cancel their events.
The WIRCS was scheduled to have races on Lake Menomonie this past Saturday but was forced to cancel due to poor ice conditions. The Lake Menomonie races will be rescheduled for a later date.
Similar story for the CWIRA as they had to cancel their scheduled races on Millpond in Tilleda due to warm weather and water being on the ice.
This weekend both the CWIRA and WIRCS will have races on Lake Altoona on Saturday as part of CCF Bank’s Winterfest and Games.
The CWIRA’s races will run as they typically do with sign up from 8 to 10 am, followed by practice at 9 with races starting at 11:00 am with awards following the last races.
The WIRCS will be hosting an Under The Lights points race later Saturday afternoon. Registration is from 2 to 4 pm followed by the drivers meeting. Races are scheduled to begin at 4:15 pm with Awards following.
