Cancer Clear and Simple Workshop

Clark County UW-Extension and Clark County HCE will be holding a “Cancer Clear and Simple” workshop on Tuesday, January 24th from 10:00 a.m. ??" 12:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Neillsville.The public is invited to attend.
We have all been affected in some way by cancer; however the word “cancer” doesn’t need to leave you feeling scared or confused. The Cancer Clear and Simple (CC&S) workshop will give you a basic understanding of what cancer is, the risk factors leading to cancer and other chronic diseases, and prevention strategies. You will learn how to use cancer screening as a tool for early detection. The workshop will include engaging activities and useful handouts and there is no fee to attend.
This program is a partnership between UW-Extension and the UW-Carbone Cancer Centers Cancer Health Disparities Initiative (CHDI). If interested in attending, please register with the Clark County UW-Extension Office at 715-743-5121.
