Colby Man Dies in Vilas County Accident

-A Colby man has died in a crash in Vilas County.According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the accident happened on County Highway H near Eagle River in Vilas County just after 3:33pm on Tuesday. A 68-year-old Colby woman was driving a minivan went she went through a stop sign on County Highway H and hit the passenger side of a semi.
77-year-old Richard Brandl of Colby, her passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield with non-life threatening injuries and the driver of the semi wasn’t injured.
