Greenwood School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer stated that Governor Walker is talking about some increase in school funding and there’s some early talk about drug testing students involved in extra-curricular activities. He also offered a review of the January 20th In-service agenda and stated no candidates have submitted required paperwork to represent Area 2 in the spring school board election. Policy edits have been submitted to NEOLA and a final draft copy of the policy manual will be forthcoming. Finally, he stated that they are looking into ending the SPED agreement with Thorp and utilizing their arrangement with Neillsville exclusively, 2nd Friday Enrollment Count is January 13th and the WASB Convention is January 18-20.
High School Principal Todd Fisher provided a report highlighting the Elementary Christmas Concert, Santa Project and Santa visits. Additionally Middle and High School students prepared holiday packages which were delivered to their neighbors.
