-A Black River Falls woman arrested in connection with a drug related death appeared in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.Back in February of 2015, authorities responded to a report of a deceased man. An investigation revealed that 24-year-old Dustin Bahr had passed away from a heroin overdose. As the investigation continued, authorities learned that a local woman who supplied Bahr with the heroin may have been responsible for his death. On May 31st of that year, they arrested Dreama Harvey of Black River Falls in connection with Bahr's death. Harvey has been charged with one count of 1st degree reckless homicide.
During a final pre-trial on Wednesday, Harvey’s jury trial scheduled for February was removed from the schedule due to the matter being resolved. Both parties are expected to know more in February and a status conference will be set for March.
