Neillsville Police Department Short an Officer Again

-One of the Neillsville Police Department’s newest officers has resigned.Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann wouldn’t provide any further information other than the resignation of Officer Lane Schuld was effective immediately. Schuld was hired after the resignation of Officer Aaron Bembnister, who began working with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, and Officer Jacob Aumann who chose to pursue a different career.
Officer Schuld was offered the job in October of last year and began working with the department in November. Officer Brett Chawla was offered employment in mid-December and the Neillsville City Council approved the hiring at the end of December.
