Marshfield Clinic Expects to Have Agreement in Place by End of March for Purchase of St. Joseph's Hospital

(WDLB) -Marshfield Clinic expects to have an agreement in place by the end of March for acquiring its longtime next door neighbor from Ministry Health Care.Clinic officials told the Marshfield Common Council last night they hope to finalize the terms of its purchase of St. Joseph's Hospital by the end of the first quarter. Ned Wolf is serving as the Clinic's Chief Administrative Officer for the hospital and said they are working on a definitive plan for current hospital employees, which totals about 15-hundred. He also said the Clinic is doing all it can to minimize referrals away from the hospital, and they want to accept every patient that gets referred to Marshfield.
Wolf also talked about the future of several services including Spirit ground and air transport, the House of the Dove, the Hope Lodge and the Ronald McDonald House, the Bright Horizons Day Care Center and the Children's Miracle Network.
