Medford Man Appears in Chippewa County Court for High Speed Chase

-A Medford man arrested after a high speed chase was in Chippewa County Court on Wednesday.Back in August, Daniel Drozda led Lake Hallie Police on a high speed chase. Officers tried to pull Drozda over, but he didn’t stop. The chase lasted for over 5 miles and reached speeds of 60mph. He eventually stopped, surrendered and he was arrested on 12 outstanding warrants.
Drozda has been charged with vehicle operator flee/elude an officer, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, two counts of felony bail jumping and four counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. During his arraignment on Wednesday, he entered a not guilty plea to all the charges against him. He has a jury trial scheduled towards the end of February.
