Pittsville Farmer Wins 2016 State Corn Growers Contest

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Organizers of the 2016 state corn grower contest say participants had recorded impressive yields once again this year.Brad Kremer of Pittsville was the winner of the competition held by the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association with 303 bushel per-acre yield. Now in its eighth year, the program awards certificates and cash prizes to the top three yield winners in four divisions. All yields were checked by certified crop consultants and participants were allowed one entry for every WCGA membership they held.
Each of the top winners will be recognized during the 2017 Wisconsin Corn/Soy Expo in Wisconsin Dells this winter.
