Did you know that the Clark County Health Department offers a Cribs for Kids Program.
We want all babies to sleep safely. Each year, more than 3,500 U.S. infants die suddenly and unexpectedly. Many of these deaths occur in an unsafe sleep environment.
The Health Department’s Cribs for Kids Program includes an educational session with a Registered Nurse; presentation and review of educational materials related to safe sleep practices; demonstration and assembling of a Pack-N-Play Crib; and a Pack-N-Play Crib provided to the caregiver by the Health Department for a requested donation of $25.
Any Clark County family is eligible especially if they display a need based on one of the following items including WIC enrolled, Medicaid/BadgerCare Eligible, Wisconsin Works (W-2) Cash Assistance, Food Shares, Free/Low Cost School Meals, and Prenatal/ Postnatal Education through the Health Department.
If you or someone you know needs assistance in making sure their baby has a safe place to sleep, please do not hesitate to call. 715-743-5105
