Donations and More at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board accepted a couple donations at their meeting on Monday.The board accepted a donation of handmade knit hats for the elementary school from Rosella Burlingame. They also accepted a donation of a twin bed from Craig and Tonia Anderson Ruskin for the special ed. department so the kids can gain life skills by learning how to make a bed. The board also approved the application for the FAB Lab grant. This grant would allow the school district to update the equipment in their tech ed. department. The district applied for the grant last year, but they were unsuccessful. This grant is for 3 years and gives the district $25,000 per year, which they would match.
The board also approved some changes to the staff handbooks. And they approved some budget adjustments. With the release of the final numbers from the DPI in October, they had to makes some adjustments in Fund 10 expenses and revenues, Fund 27 expenses and revenues and Fund 50 expenses.
