Neillsville School Board Approves Security System Upgrade

-The Neillsville School Board approved an upgrade to their security system at their meeting on Monday.This upgrade will allow them to get more cameras for more outside views and better inside views. They’ll also be getting “fish eye” cameras that allow for 360 degree rotation. They will also be getting a new network video recorder, which will allow them to store up to a month’s worth of video. They approved the upgrade from Access Security at a cost of $15,182.33.
The board also approved a bid for a new vehicle. There were two bids, from Gross Motors and Urban’s Sales and Service, on two different vehicles. One was for a 2017 Chevy Impala LS for a lower bid of $21,947 and the other was for a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan at a lower bid of $23,002. The board decided to go with the Dodge Grand Caravan, for more space, from Urban’s with a trade in at a cost of $23,002.
