Security Health Plan Names New Director of Health Plan Quality

-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has named Shelley Kress as director of Health Plan Quality.In this role Kress leads the Plan’s efforts to ensure its members receive the highest quality health care and services. Kress has more than 28 years of health care experience, beginning with nine years in patient care at Marshfield Clinic. She transferred to the Health Services Department at Security Health Plan in 1997 and has managed the Plan’s utilization management, appeals and grievances, accreditation and quality functions.
For 12 years running, Security Health Plan has achieved consistently high accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Once again for 2017 Security Health Plan is among the nation’s highest-rated health insurance plans as its Medicare, Medicaid and Private plans each were given a 4.5 out of 5.0 rating by NCQA.
