Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Several Resolutions

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution approving the county’s purchasing policy.This resolution puts the county in compliance with the Office of Management and Budget in regards to federal awards and grant funds. Along with that, the approved a resolution approving the Clark County Federal Awards Uniform Grant Guidance Policies and Procedures. The board also approved a resolution making an amendment to supervisory district boundaries to reflect the annexation of land by the City of Thorp. The land in question is on the border of Withee and Thorp. Another resolution passed would secure state funding to support communicable disease control for overall population health.
The board also passed a resolution to enter into an agreement with a community black grant, which would help cover the damage received during severe flooding back in September. Some final resolutions passed include an amendment to the Clark County boards, committees and commissions ordinance, condolences to the families of Bernard Mertens and Donald Erpenbach and creating the Aging and Disability Resource Center and Governing Board. Two resolutions didn’t pass, and they were an amendment to some board rules and appointing a special committee to evaluate long-term options at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.
