Administrators' Intentions at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the District Administrators’ intentions at their meeting on Monday.The three administrators presented written letters of intent to return to the district, in their current positions, for the 2017-18 school year. The Board has until January 31st, 2017 to begin non-renewal proceedings or the contracts will automatically be extended for the 2018-19 school year. The board also, by a unanimous voice vote, approved the hiring of Joe Lambright to fill the night maintenance position left vacant by the retirement of Robert Zaidel.
Finally, the board by a unanimous voice vote, approved hiring Angela Miller to fill the soon-to-be vacant teacher’s aide position created when Shayla Gulcynski resigned to pursue higher education opportunities at UWEC.
