Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Several Resolutions

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors began their meeting on Thursday with a couple reports.

The board heard a report from Personnel and they heard the dog damage report. They also passed resolution approving the 2017 Forestry and Parks Annual Work Plan. This plan is need due to State Statute and it give direction and meaning to the Forestry and Parks Department budget. The board also approved a resolution ratifying the 2017 Base Wage Agreement with two unions representing county employees. Both parties will be receiving a .67% base wage increase beginning on January 8th.

The board also passed resolution ratifying the 2017-18 Labor Contract with the Wisconsin Professional Police Association. The contract covers items like wages and compensation, open shifts and overtime and benefit time accrual. An resolution approving the 2017 non-union wage increase was also approved. They will be seeing a .67% increase on January 8th as well. The board approved a resolution that made a revision to the county’s employee handbook. The revision deals with amendments clarifying organizational intentions and ensure consistent policy practice.
