Thorp Students Participate in Microsoft Office Suite Products

Some Thorp students participated in training for Microsoft Office Suite products.

Though the school uses Google Suite as a free resource, the District is making sure they invest in their students by preparing them for college and careers requiring knowledge of industry wide Microsoft Office Suite products.

Students in this class have the option to receive college credits through CVTC. In addition to this, they are also given the opportunity to get industry certified as Mrs. Sherfield can proctor these exams right in the classroom.

MOS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills are great additions to enhance resumes and applications for future employment, along with making college assignments easier for our students taking that path.

They have started a “brag” wall in the business education room. They are all looking forward to watching it grow. Congratulations to several students on their certifications in Microsoft Word including Madyson Sayles, Austin Gosney, Makenzie Fuerstenau, Evan Hoehn, and Jacob Ciolkosz.
