Memorial Medical Center's New Facility Project Update, Part 1

-Memorial Medical Center’s new facility project is continuing on with excellent progress.I spoke with Memorial Medical Center’s CEO Ryan Neville and he gave a brief update on the project.
"We're very pleased with how the project is progressing. We're cooperating with our accountants to finalize the USDA application. We are right on track with our timeline that is established to have our application fully submitted in February. And we're going through all the proper steps and every step is coming back favorable."
Ryan also took the time to answer some frequently asked questions that have popped up since the announcement of the new facility. One of those being, where is the new facility going to be?
"We've located three or four sites that we're analyzing at this point off of Highway 10 in the Neillsville area. However, it's very complicated. One, are the current landowners interested in selling? Two, will that site work? And so it's been our Ad Hoc Committee of the building project that's been analyzing and doing some of the studies. And so, the next step now is to fully vet and select our architect and then bring their civil engineer into the project and help us with the final sight selection."
