Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Several Accidents on Sunday

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to several vehicle accidents during Sunday’s winter weather.The first call came in around 9:22am on Sunday. The department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident ¼ of a mile south of Maple Road on Highway 73 south of Neillsville. When the department arrived they found the vehicle on its roof. The driver and passenger were out of the vehicle and okay. They assisted with traffic control for about an hour. The second call came in just after 11am. A vehicle slid into the ditch on Highway 95 and Clark Avenue. The driver was in the vehicle when the department arrived and was unharmed and the department assisted with traffic control.
On the way to the second accident, they discovered another vehicle had slid into the ditch on Highway 95 and Brian Avenue. The driver was unharmed and they assisted with traffic control. The Neillsville Ambulance Service responded to all three calls, but no one was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The department was on scene for about an hour with all three accidents and there were no injuries on their part. They assisted the Neillsville Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
