Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Clark County Community Foundation Inc.

Monday, December 5th, 2016 -- 8:54 AM

-A ribbon-cutting and reception was held Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the new office of the Clark County Community Foundation Inc. (CCCF).

Located in the City of Loyal Municipal Building (301 N. Main Street) the Foundation was excited to share this special moment with their friends and neighbors throughout the Clark County area. The event, hosted by the Clark County Economic Development Corporation and the City of Loyal, was attended by community residents, businesses, local, state, and federal elected officials or representatives, as well as current CCCF Board Members and volunteers.

The goal of the Foundation is to help the citizens and communities of Clark County WI improve their quality of life, by awarding scholarships to eligible applicants and making grants in support of the many charitable needs in our communities. Scholarships are awarded each Spring, to graduating seniors who live in Clark County. The third Scholarship Cycle will begin in January 2017 with scholarship winners announced in May 2017. Additionally, the Foundation’s first Grant Cycle has just closed (November 15, 2016) and successful grant applicants will be notified and presented checks for their award amount, within the next few weeks.

It’s the contributions from generous donors (i.e. individuals, area businesses, estates, memorials, and other financial supporters) that make the programs of the Foundation possible. The CCCF offers several different types of Funds or “areas of interest” for people to support, and will work with the donor’s attorney or investment advisors to help make sure the donor’s intent and charitable giving goals are met.

Organized in 2013 as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, the Foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) public charity, and is governed by a board of directors, committee members and volunteers from all areas of the county. The CCCF is always looking for people interested in being part of the organization, so contact us if you have questions or want to learn more about ways to get involved.

Our office is initially open by appointment only. Regularly scheduled office hours will be announced in the very near future.
