Spencer Police Department Tells Residents to be Vigilant

-Spencer residents are asked to be aware after a suspicious person was spotted watching children.According to the Spencer Police Department, they received a report of a suspicious person wearing a black stocking cap and jacket watching children playing near a wooded area near 211 E. Willow Court in Spencer.
The children said the individual, who was Caucasian, was just watching the children and did not approach them. The Spencer Police Department said they’ll be conducting extra patrols and ask residents to be vigilant.
