The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Elementary Principal Tim Rueth reported on attendance, the music concert schedule, no school around Thanksgiving, no school around Christmas and New Year’s and Google Docs and Google Classroom training. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, winter sports in full swing, the Rise Together presentation, 2017-18 Academic Career Planning and an open campus update.
District Administrator John Gaier reported on thank you cards, the district’s hazardous transportation plan, the Medford legislative meeting, Junior Achievement, the upcoming WASB convention, nominations for Chamber awards, a delay in the annual district audit and information about health cooperatives. He also reported on an article about the impact of state aid, an article about the distribution of state education funds, an opinion article on school choice, three articles on school vouchers, tax statements for districts that have passed referendums, school referenda results, a press release from the AEF and a Focus article
