Clark County Health Insurance Task Force's Enrollment Seminars

-A task force in Clark County is working to get more residents enrolled in Health Insurance.The Clark County Health Department received a grant to help increase the county’s enrollment numbers for health insurance. They partnered with several organizations including Memorial Medical Center, the Clark County UW-Extension Office and others to raise awareness on the high number of people in the county not enrolled in health insurance and to provide seminars and education to residents on why they should receive some kind of coverage. Together they created the Health Insurance Task Force.
The Health Insurance Task Force held seminars at the end of September and throughout October providing information on health insurance. Now, they’re going to be providing seminars now through January to help people enroll in health insurance. The next event is in Neillsville on Tuesday, November 29th at Memorial Medical Center. The next one is in Thorp at Holland's Family Cheese on Wednesday, December 14th. The next one is in Greewoond on Tuesday, January 10th at the Greenwood Fire Hall. The next one is on Wednesday, January 18th at the Abbotsford City Hall. And the final one is in Neillsville on Tuesday, January 24th at Memorial Medical Center. The times for all the events are from 1pm-7pm.
