Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the Cloverbelt Conference fundraiser for cancer, approved a donation of 34 hat and mitten sets from Thrivent Financial, approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Lutheran Social Services to provide counseling services and they approved two out-of-state field trips. One was for the FFA in February 2017, to St. Paul, MN and the other was for the FFA in July 2017, to Washington D.C. In employment matters, the board approved the hiring of Mitch Conner for a custodian position, Kelly McGraw for a custodian position, Sharilyn Ziegler for a combination of teaching assistant and summer custodian position and Rhonda Pernsteiner for a combination of teaching assistant and summer custodian position.
They also approved the hiring of Alaric Huls for a weight room supervisor position, Dessa Karl for a History Club advisor position, Sara Rosewicz for a Fine Arts Club co-advisor position, Becky Short for a Fine Arts Club co-advisor position, Becky Short for a Literary Magazine advisor position and Michelle Anding for a FCCLA advisor position. The board also approved the resignation of Tabitha Huth from her junior varsity volleyball coaching position. Finally, they approved the addendum to Tim Rueth’s, Craig Anderson’s and John Gaier’s contracts.
