Thursday, May 13th, 2021 -- 9:02 AM
(WDLB) Like many districts, students in Marshfield will keep wearing masks and other face coverings through the end of the current school year.
According to WDLB, Superintendent Dr. Ryan Christianson also told the Board of Education last night that includes all staff members and school visitors. He also said that requirement would extend into summer school, but with a few exceptions.
Both the Wisconsin Rapids and Wausau School Districts also decided this week to keep their mask mandates in place for the one month remaining in the school year.
Christianson also said the district is still planning to hold an in-person, outdoor graduation ceremony later this month. Right now, Marshfield High School graduation ceremonies are set for Saturday, May 29th at 11 a.m.
