The Granton Village Board had questions on multiple billings from MSA at their meeting last week.A question regarding which bills the village is solely responsible for, what has CDBG match and what has principal forgiveness was raised. Voss wrote down the invoice numbers, willresearch and get back to the village. It was also stated that the sidewalk restoration project is on hold until spring. The covered picnic table project is also on hold until spring. The village currently has $550 earmarked for this project, which was donated. The new fire truck will be purchased in 2018. This will replace the 1986 Pump truck. The Fire Department will be applying for a grant which may lower the expected cost to the village.
The village received a thank you note for the $100 donation toward thelighted flag in the cemetery. The thank you note identified that 51 cemeteries now have a lighted flag on display. The flag in the Windfall Cemetery is scheduled for a spring install. Also, ordinances still need to be reviewed and updated for the ATV Route.
