Clark County Board of Supervisors Report

The Clark County Board of Supervisors began their meeting on Wednesday of last week with several appointments.They approved reappointing Art Petke to the Veteran’s Service Commission. They also approved reappointing Byrl Dahl, Tom Bobrofsky and Nancy Dean to the Clark County Library Committee. Finally, they approved reappointing Maryanne Olson and Virginia Kodl. The board also approved a resolution regarding Community Services and Social Services Contracts. The county is require by law to enter into these contracts with the State Department of Health Services and Department of Children and Families to provide mental hygiene, social services and more.
The board also approved a resolution apply for the WIC grant. This grant pays for Clark County’s WIC services, which has been around for 29 years. The amount this year comes to $171,858.56. The board also approved the cancellation of outstanding checks with the smallest being for $3.83 and the largest being $100.19
