Taco is this week's Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Badger Animal Clinic and Courteous Canine in Black River Falls.

Name:  Taco

Age: 2.5-Years-Old

Breed:  Long-Haired Tortoiseshell

Taco is the CCHS Pet of the Week! Taco is one seriously gorgeous kitty.  She is a spayed female  long-haired Tortoiseshell. She is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs 10#.  Along with her soft fluffy coat, she also has the most beautiful eyes.

Taco had been found as a stray in the Neillsville area.  She is pretty much a typical cat.  She likes to sit on your lap, but only when it's her idea.  She enjoys petting, but will let you know when she's had enough.

She is quite the diva, and likes to think that she's in charge of everybody!  Due to her sometimes feisty attitude, Taco would do best as the only cat in her new home and also without very young children.

If you'd like to have a pretty new friend who will keep you on your toes, Taco is your girl! Apply to adopt her today!  Adoption applications can be submitted through our website:  www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

The original CC Resale Store at 600 Hewett Street is now open from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. on the first Friday of each month, the next time on June 4th.  Everything that you can fit in a large grocery bag will be just $2.00!!

CCHS continues to be closed to the general public but we are doing adoptions by appointment only for approved applicants.  We ask that everyone wear a mask and we thank everybody for their understanding and support!  Our CC Resale Store at 815 Hewett Street is open on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

You can learn more about, and adopt, Taco, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Check out our Facebook page for more pictures of Taco.
