Two People Killed in Car vs. Motorcycle Crash Near Neillsville

-On Saturday, November 5th, just before 1pm, deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 10 and Sidney Ave for a traffic crash involving a motorcycle and a car.Initial investigation indicates that the motorcycle was traveling east on Highway 10, while the car was traveling west. The car crossed the center line and collided with the motorcycle. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the motorcycle and were killed as a result of the injuries. The driver of the vehicle was transported by helicopter to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.
At this time the Clark County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the crash. The names are not being released until notification of family members has happened. Also responding to the scene was Neillsville Fire Department, Neillsville Ambulance, and Mayo helicopter out of Eau Claire.
