Neillsville Police Department Welcomes Newest Officer

-The Neillsville Police Department would like to welcome their newest police officer, Lane Schuld of Auburndale.Officer Schuld graduated from Auburndale High School in 2013 and then he attended Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids. He has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and also completed his state law enforcement certification at Mid-State. Officer Schuld has worked part-time for the Wood County Sheriff’s Department and the Loyal Police Department. When Officer Schuld completes his initial field training he will work dayshift opposite Officer Ben Zawislan.
Officer Schuld will be officially sworn in by Neillsville Mayor Steve Mabie at the Neillsville Common Council Meeting on November 10th.
