Man Arrested in Owen for Possession Sentenced in Clark County Court

-A man arrested for possession in Owen, at the end of October 2015, was sentenced in Clark County Court on Thursday.On Friday, October 30th of 2015, at about 7:40am, the Clark County Sheriff's Office with the Owen Police Department executed a search warrant at 504 N. Paul Ave. in the City of Owen. Brian R. Peo and Charles W. Lewallen were arrested as a result of the investigation. Brian and Charles also had warrants for their arrest. Peo was scheduled to appear in court back in May for a plea hearing, but he didn’t show. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was located and returned to court this week. He entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of narcotic drugs. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed and read in.
He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with 60 days of conditional jail time. An imposed and stayed sentenced of 180 days in jail was also issued. Lewallen was sentenced back in January and he was sentenced to 2 years' extended supervision and 3 years' probation with 75 days of conditional jail time and an imposed and stayed prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months.
