Clark County Passes $1.4 Million in Flooding Damage

Friday, September 30th, 2016 -- 12:16 PM

-Clark County has passed $1.4 million in flooding damage from last week’s storms.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs, Clark County has $117,000 in damages to homes and businesses and $1,285,126 in damages to public infrastructure. The National Weather Services is forecasting light rain showers across the state beginning today through Saturday. Forecasters expect rain totals of less than half an inch of rain.

County assessment teams continue surveying damage to public infrastructure and submitting to Wisconsin Emergency Management preliminary cost estimates to repair that damage. In addition, homeowners and businesses that sustained damage should report to county emergency management offices. The State Emergency Operations Center is at Level 5 with Wisconsin Emergency Management’s 24-hour duty officer and senior duty officer monitoring events.
