Trail Update for Clark County

-The Clark County Forestry and Parks Department has released an updated list of open/closed trail systems in the county due to last week’s flooding.There are some open trails in the county including Levis/Trow Mound Recreation Area and Trails, county campgrounds and boat landings. All Clark County Forest Roads are open, except for Butler Lanes, which received significant damage. Clark County ATV/UTV Trails located north of Hay Creek Road and east of Rock Dam Lake will remain closed. Trails south of intersection 9a to Snyder Lake will also remain closed.
All other ATV/UTV trails will open for riders today at 4pm. They will be closed during the day today as staff will be performing maintenance. Horse Trails and Off-Road Motorcycle Trails will also open today at 4pm. The Forestry and Parks Department encourages responsible riding and you can check their website for more information on the trail systems.
