Neillsville School Board Meets New Teachers
Tuesday, September 27th, 2016 -- 8:03 AM
-The Neillsville School Board met the district’s new teachers at their meeting on Monday. To begin their meeting, the board briefly heard from the new teachers as they talked about their backgrounds and what they teach. From there, the board heard an update on what the ag classes and FFA have done this past summer. There was a long list of items including the Clark County Fair, volunteering, the State FFA Convention in Madison, the school garden and more.
The board also approved a donation from the Booster Club. The club will be purchasing the material and providing the labor to replace the roof of the concession stand in between the baseball and softball diamonds. There was an item on the agenda to release funds to the Class of 2016; however, they didn’t get the request in soon enough, so that will more than likely be brought back before the board next month.
