For the 12th consecutive year, Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., is among the nation’s highest-rated health insurance plans by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its Medicare, Medicaid and Private plans.In the 2016-17 NCQA Health Insurance Plan Ratings released Tuesday, Sept. 20, Security Health Plan’s Medicare, Medicaid and Private plans each were given a 4.5 out of 5.0 rating. Security Health Plan’s Medicare POS plans are rated 4.5 out of 5 in NCQA’s Medicare Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2016-17. Security Health Plan’s BadgerCare Plus HMO plan is rated 4.5 out of 5 in NCQA’s Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2016-17, the highest-rated Medicaid plan in Wisconsin. Security Health Plan’s HMO/POS Private plans are rated 4.5 out of 5 among NCQA’s Private Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2016-17. No Private plans in Wisconsin are rated 5 out of 5.
